Job description
Universal Cabling Systems, Inc. is located in southeast Florida, and has been providing services since 1989 for low voltage Structured Cabling Systems. We are looking to expand our team, and are looking for highly motivated cable techs and project foremen.

Responsibilities and Skills:

Cable pullers and team project foremen , preferably with experience. BICSI certification and/or manufacturer certifications a plus but not required. Applicant MUST be able to pass a background check and drug screening, NO exceptions. Must possess a valid Florida drivers' license, and must be eligible to work in the US. E-Verify screening will take place on all applicants.

· Able to work with ladders and in ceilings.

· Able to read plans and specs, do as-builts and test results.

· Able to install cable supports, fire sleeves, work with specialty tools.

· Able to install various types of cabling systems, Cat5E, Cat6, Cat6A, Fiber Optic cable, coax, outside plant. Training may be offered for the right candidate.

· Able to work flexible working hours day/night.

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Work Location: Multiple Locations

Looking for cable pullers and foreman. Willing to train entry level cable technicians. Foreman with BICSI certifications and/or manufacturer certifications a plus. Send resume to [email protected]. Willing to train entry level cable technicians. Foreman with BICSI certifications and/or manufacturer certifications a plus. Must be able to work nights when needed, and travel out of town.
