📍 The R&R Paris Edit: A Guide to the City — Roland-Garros Week or Any Week
So you’re going to Roland-Garros. (Or you wish you were. We get it.)

Here’s how we’d spend the week — pulled straight from our notebook after a recent trip:
Where to Stay
The Peninsula Paris. Full stop. The spa is otherworldly, the brunch is genuinely unmatched (yes, we’ll die on this hill), and the concierge may or may not have a Hermès connection. You didn’t hear that from us.
No Ticket? No Problem.
Tribune Concorde at Place de la Concorde is the move — live match screenings, food trucks, aperitifs, and a chic crowd with no grounds pass required. Open June 3–7.
And if you need a shopping detour between sets: Galeries Lafayette rooftop screenings + the Roland-Garros x Lacoste pop-up.
Where to Eat
L’As du Fallafel in the Marais. Non-negotiable.
Then book:
Mamiche for pastries worth planning your morning around
Jip for quietly brilliant Korean-French cooking
Masaikuta for French-inspired Asian cuisine and one of the prettiest plates in Paris
Alfi’s for the prettiest neo-bistro energy imaginable
Where to Shop
Le Bon Marché for efficiency. Avenue Montaigne + Rue Saint-Honoré for commitment. And if you happen to leave with a Dior bag… we support your decisions.
What Else to Do
Crazy Horse for champagne, caviar, and the ultimate Paris night out
The Dior exhibit, followed immediately by a “souvenir” purchase
Matisse at the Grand Palais because culture and shopping should coexist
Where to Exhale
Escape to Abbaye des Vaux de Cernay — floating padel courts, tennis, farm-to-table dinners, and enough fresh air to recover from two straight weeks of allez! energy.
