Addiction and lying often go hand in hand. Not because people are bad, but because addiction thrives in secrecy, denial, guilt, and fear.
Many people lie to protect their addiction, avoid consequences, or hold onto the illusion of control. Eventually, the person they begin lying to the most is themselves.
Recovery starts when honesty replaces survival mode.
The truth may be uncomfortable at first, but it’s also where healing begins. Let's talk about it. Divorce yourself from the good and fine club.

We often think the opposite of addiction is recovery, but it misses crucial steps. Addiction thrives on isolation; connection is the true path forward. Whether through support programs, treatment, or sober living, consistent support is key.
