🚨 SPRAY GROUND CLOSURE ALERT
The Westacre Park Spray Ground is closed until further notice for repairs.
Staff is currently awaiting replacement parts needed to complete repairs. We will share an update as soon as reopening information is available.

Pool Heater & Lap Swim Update
The Recreation Pool is heated and remains available for Recreation Swim, and other scheduled activities.

Repairs to the Competition Pool heater are still underway, with additional contractor work scheduled to be completed within the next week.

At this time, the Competition Pool heater is not operating. The pool has recently maintained overnight temperatures between 78–80 degrees; however, water temperatures may fluctuate depending on weather conditions. When weather conditions allow, staff will tarp the pool overnight to help retain heat. The pool cannot be tarped during windy conditions.

Beginning Monday, August 17, Lunch Lap Swim will share pool space with the high school PE classes. The classes will use lanes 7–13, including the shallow lane, through Friday, September 4.

🌡️ Pool Heater Update

Just a heads up! Our contractor had to complete some last-minute work, and with tonight’s cooler temperatures and wind, the pool may be a little cooler than expected tomorrow.

The good news is that we expect the temperature to return to normal later in the day as the pool has time to warm back up. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we finish up this work! 💦

Callander Associates has been leading community outreach and site assessments to shape this plan — come see how your neighbors' input helped shape what's next for Meadowdale Park. We'll also hear a recap from our Summer STEPS Interns.

☀️ As summer comes to a close, weekdays at the Rec Center pool have wrapped up, but we're still open on weekends for a little more summer fun!
