Attended the very last game in the history of the Modesto Nuts Professional Baseball Club on Sunday, a history that stretches back to 1948, as the team has been sold and will relocate to San Bernadino as the Inland Empire 66ers next year. The Nuts in 2025 were the Class A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. The ballpark is John Thurman Field which was built in 1955 and still holds a lot of old baseball charm. The staff was wonderful, the team signed autographs for everyone before the game and a good time was had by all, one last time.

What a tough last few weeks for baseball fans, first losing Dave Parker on June 28th, and now Ryne Sandberg.
Both Hall of Famers.
Both icons in the Cities they represented.
Both great ambassadors for the game of baseball.
RIP to “Ryno and The Cobra”

We're now entering the beginning stages of post-production and can't wait to share all of Dan’s fun stories of the Niners golden era with you.
