Do you know a former WSHS athlete, coach, standout team, or community champion who left an unforgettable mark on Terrier athletics? Now is your chance to make sure their legacy is celebrated.

🏆Nomination Categories & Eligibility:
Athlete: WSHS graduates eligible 5 years post-graduation.
Team: Teams eligible 5 years after completing their season.
Coach: Eligible 3 years after retiring from the sport.
Special Contributor: Individuals or organizations who have fostered WSHS athletics, achieved state/national hall of fame status, set world records, or competed at the professional, Olympic, or national championship level.

Our athletes go above and beyond the scoreboard every season. Through the Student Athletic Leadership Group, they organize fundraisers that give back to meaningful local nonprofits and community causes—including Baystate Health Foundation’s Rays of Hope initiative.

When you attend a game at Clark Field, you are supporting more than our student-athletes’ hard work and school spirit. You are supporting young leaders who regularly use their platform to make a difference throughout the community.

Help support West Springfield High School hockey at the 9th Annual Hockey Booster Club Golf Tournament – Friday, September 11, 2026 at Agawam Municipal Golf Course.

Grab your foursome for a Friday afternoon scramble, with registration at 10:00 a.m. and an 11:00 a.m. shotgun start.

Entry includes greens, cart, and lunch, with raffles to follow immediately after golf.

In case you, uh… forgot (very Dory of you), tryouts begin Monday, August 24, 2026, and registration is OPEN now on FamilyID. We don’t want you missing your shot to make the team this season.

Here’s what you need to remember (or re-remember):
Clark Field tryouts run August 24–27
Girls Soccer: 7:30–9:30 AM
Boys Soccer: 9:30–11:30 AM
Cross Country (Boys & Girls): 2:00–5:00 PM
Field Hockey: 3:30–6:00 PM
Football: 6:00 PM
Volleyball (Gym): 5:00–7:00 PM
Golf: Springfield Country Club (time TBD)

New this year: Girls’ Co-op Gymnastics with Agawam, starting August 24 (registration closes August 17 via ArbiterSports).

Before you register: make sure you have a current physical (valid for 13 months), concussion test completed, and your info ready (doctor, insurance, emergency contacts).

Trackletes were a little busy this season. Between XC and TF, they put 16 new school records up on the school record board this year. Proud of the hard work, dedication, and history-making performances from this group.
