So instead of fighting the thought, try noticing it… then question it.

This effect is known as enclothed cognition, a psychological concept introduced by psychologists Hajo Adam & Adam D. Galinsky. Their research showed that clothing linked with competence or authority can influence attention, confidence, and performance.
It’s your brain responding to the signals your clothing sends and what it represents — often without you realising it 📡
So what you wear doesn’t just sit on your body — it shapes how you show up.
Work, gym, or everyday — which outfit makes you feel most confident?
