Otis Street Corridor Project Update #2 June 18, 2026:
Construction activities continue to progress along the corridor. During the month of June, crews will be actively working on the following items:
• Tree work, including removal, clearing, trimming, and protection of vegetation.
• Mobilization of construction equipment and materials to the project area.
• Installation of erosion control measures.
• Completion of borings for the signal mast arms at the RT 9/Otis St intersection.
Residents and travelers may notice increased construction activity during this period. We appreciate your patience as this important project moves forward and will continue to provide updates as work progresses. Visit this page to get status updates throughout the project.

ROAD WORK WILL CONTINUE ON RUGGLES STREET BETWEEN THE HIGH SCHOOL & W. MAIN STREET. EXPECT DELAYS, PROCEED WITH CAUTION, SEEK ALTERNATE ROUTE IF POSSIBLE

Paving will take place tomorrow, Friday June 19th on Linda, Carolyn & Jasper St Ext. Expect delays, seek alternate routes if possible.

Yesterday the Senior Center celebrated the Dragon Boast Festival with crafts, education and zongzi (the traditional dumpling eaten during the Dragon Boat Festival).

🎓 Graduation Ceremony: November 17, 2026, at the Select Board Meeting
⏰ Classes: Tuesdays, 6:00–8:00 p.m. (with one class held Monday, October 26)
📍 Locations vary throughout Westborough

Road Work Notice:
“RUGGLES STREET AREA SEWER REPLACEMENT PROJECT”

Beginning Monday – June 15th, the Department of Public Works (DPW) will begin sewer replacement construction road work in the Ruggles Street area, between the Westborough High School driveway and the Ruggles Street/Cross Street intersection.

Access into work zone will be permitted to residents only.

Please plan accordingly and seek alternative routes via School Street or South Street.
