โ๏ธ๐พ An exciting evening at the YMCA Allard Center of Goffstown (NH) as the community came together to cut the ribbon on four beautiful new tennis courts! ๐
This incredible project was made possible through more than $50,000 in combined support from YMCA members, donors and community supporters, including a $14,850 USTA Tennis Venue Services Grant. These investments helped fund court resurfacing, new nets, benches, divider curtains and expanded opportunities for tennis programming at the Y.
Members of both the YMCA and USTA communities came together to celebrate this milestone at one of New Hampshireโs most active tennis facilities, which regularly hosts USTA League and junior programs.
Weโre proud to support organizations like the YMCA Allard Center that are creating more opportunities to play, growing the game and strengthening tennis communities across New England ๐๐พ

๐พ Last week, New England players competed on the national stage at the historic ATA National Championships, held at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, FL ๐ด
๐ The seven-day championships featured eight junior and adult competitions, bringing together hundreds of players from across North America and the Caribbean for one of tennisโ most celebrated events.
Founded in 1916, the ATA is the oldest African American sports organization in the United States and has played a pivotal role in advancing diversity, inclusion and opportunity in tennis. The organization helped develop and support legends like Althea Gibson and Arthur Ashe, while continuing to provide a national stage for the next generation of players.
๐ A Bright Future (ABF), a Boston-based NJTL chapter, sent eight young players to this year's championships, including earning the following top finishes:
๐ฅ Jacob Faryman & Mayfre Moreta โ Boysโ 16s Unsanctioned Junior Doubles Champions
๐ฅ Roan Bennett โ Boysโ 14s Unsanctioned Junior Singles Champion
๐ฅ Adam & Kamran Luwaga โ Boysโ 14s Unsanctioned Junior Doubles Finalists
Twelve New England juniors also competed in the L5 Junior Singles Championships, including the eight representatives from ABF.

๐พ๐ช Our juniors and coaches enjoyed an unforgettable week at the USTA Battle of the Sections!
Eight boys and eight girls represented Team New England at the USTA Level 1 event, squaring off against top junior talent from the 16 other USTA Sections across the country ๐บ๐ธ๐
The girls competed in Claremont, CA, while the boys played in Kalamazoo, MI. The rosters featured four boys and four girls from both the 16s and 18s divisions.
After dropping their opening match to Midwest, the girls won their final three matches against Missouri Valley, Mid-Atlantic and Pacific Northwest. The boys earned victories over Southwest and Hawaii while falling to Midwest and Southern California.
๐ A big thank you to coaches Steph Yanosov (Wesleyan University) and Vi Nguyen (New England Tennis Academy) for leading and supporting the players throughout the event.
New England pride was on full display throughout the week, as players cheered for every point on the court and built connections off the court through team meals and activities ๐ค
