There's nothing better than hearing what this community means to the women in it.

Katie joined us back in February, and here's what she shared in her review:

"The classes are challenging and supportive, and everyone is met where they are. There is a level of accountability that really helps me meet my goals, and the monthly check-ins keep me on track."

Katie, we are just as excited for the future of your health as you are. Getting stronger and preparing your body for the years ahead is exactly why we do this, and we are so glad you found your place with us.

Thank you for the kind words and the five stars. This one made our week.

IF YOU'RE DOING MORE CARDIO BUT FEELING MORE EXHAUSTED, READ THIS.

When the scale starts creeping up during menopause, many women immediately respond with more cardio.

Another class.

Another mile.

Another 30 minutes on the treadmill.

But more exercise isn't automatically better exercise.

If you're already exhausted and sleeping poorly, constantly adding more intensity may leave you feeling even more depleted.

This is where strength training becomes so important.

Instead of simply trying to burn more calories, you're giving your body a reason to maintain and build muscle.

You still need cardiovascular movement.

Walking is fantastic.

Cardio has important health benefits.

But you don't have to make yourself miserable trying to out-exercise menopause.

Train smarter. Recover better. Get stronger.

Three protein mistakes keeping you tired and weak in menopause. Number two catches almost everyone.

IF MENOPAUSE HAS LEFT YOU FEELING LIKE A STRANGER IN YOUR OWN BODY, START HERE.

Stop trying to fix everything at once.

Start with strength.

Two coached strength-training sessions each week can give you a foundation to build on.

Then work on the other pieces:

Better nutrition.
More daily movement.
Better recovery.
A consistent sleep routine.

And perhaps most importantly, support from people who understand what you're going through.

At FabYOUlous Fitness, our 45-minute semi-private sessions are designed specifically for women 40+ navigating perimenopause and menopause.

You don't need to get in shape before you start.

That's what we're here for.

If you're ready to feel stronger and more like yourself again, DM or comment "STRONG" and let's talk.

THE MUSCLE YOU LOSE IN MENOPAUSE MATTERS MORE THAN YOU THINK

Here's something we want every woman over 40 to understand:

Muscle isn't just about looking toned.

Muscle helps you:
• Stay strong enough to do everyday activities
• Maintain physical independence
• Support your joints
• Handle physical stress
• Maintain your ability to move confidently
• Stay active as you get older

And during menopause, maintaining muscle becomes especially important.

That's one reason strength training is such a big part of what we do at FabYOUlous Fitness.

We're not trying to turn women into bodybuilders.

We're helping women build a body they can count on.

Because being strong enough to carry the groceries is great.

Being strong enough to keep saying yes to the things you love for decades to come?

Even better.

Your metabolism didn't fail you. You just lost the muscle that runs it. And you can rebuild it at any age.

YOU SLEPT 8 HOURS. SO WHY DO YOU FEEL LIKE YOU DIDN’T SLEEP AT ALL?

You went to bed exhausted.

You slept for what should have been enough time.

And you woke up feeling like you could go right back to bed.

For women in perimenopause and menopause, sleep can become frustratingly unpredictable.

Hot flashes, night sweats, changing hormones, stress, and middle-of-the-night wakeups can all interfere with restorative sleep.

So instead of judging yourself for being tired, start paying attention to your patterns.

When did you wake up?
Were you hot?
Was your mind racing?
Did you have caffeine late in the day?
How active were you?

Tracking those patterns can give you and your healthcare provider useful information.

And during the day, don't underestimate the value of movement and strength training.

Your daytime habits can be part of your nighttime strategy too.

You don't have to simply accept that poor sleep is "just menopause."

YOUR BODY DIDN’T FORGET HOW TO LOSE WEIGHT. THE RULES CHANGED.

You used to cut back on food, exercise a little more, and the weight would come off.

Now?

You're eating less.

You're exercising more.

And somehow the scale is still moving in the wrong direction.

If this sounds familiar, you're not imagining it.

Perimenopause and menopause bring hormonal changes that can affect muscle mass, fat distribution, appetite, recovery, and how your body responds to the strategies that used to work.

That's why doing more of what you used to do isn't always the answer.

This is the time to rethink the strategy.

Build and preserve muscle.

Prioritize protein.

Strength train consistently.

Get enough recovery.

And stop treating your 40s and 50s like they're supposed to look exactly like your 20s and 30s.

Your body isn't broken.

It needs a different approach.
