Top Gun 16U National STL

Crazy last 24 hours for this group. We had a heartbreaking loss last night to the Corona Angels 1-0. They advanced to Tier 1 Super Regionals. We got pushed to Tier 2 Supers. Played very flat this morning & lost 2-0 to the Georgia Bombers. Had to play right away in an elimination game & beat the #30 national seed Power Surge out of California 6-3. We are back tomorrow 1:30EST to play Georgia Bombers again in the Super Regional Semifinals. If we win, we will have to play & beat the Texas Unity twice tomorrow starting at 3:45pmEST. If we lose, our season is over.

Well we had a great start to our Alliance National Championship this morning. Won game #1 over California Firecrackers-Cook 9-2. Strong pitching by Heggeman & Lenk led the way. Congrats to Gracie Mazzola(comments⬇️) & Hope Gilmore(⬇️)who both blasted 💣’s in Game #1.
Game #2 was against the Atlanta Vipers-Crenshaw. It was a dawg fight & we had a 1-0 lead into the 6th inning behind a strong pitching performance by Libby Gauspohl. Unfortunately we shot ourselves in the foot & lost 6-1👎 We now are in the Tier 1 Region 16 losers bracket. We have to win 3 games tomorrow to advance to the Tier 1 Super Regionals. Next game is tomorrow morning 9am EST vs Bombers Gold.

What a long 3 days competing in the Triple Crown Nationals. The girls went 6-2 on the week. Spent double digit hours at the park all three days, endured multiple weather delays, and extreme heat! Advanced to the Championship Bracket and lost to eventual champion Indiana Magic Gold 8-6 last night. Tied for 9th overall in 16U.
This was the competition we needed to face headed into the Alliance National Championship next week! We had some great performances, with plenty of boomskis💣 & great plays! Big congrats to Noah Heggemann on being named All-Tournament Team🏆 after her solid performances in the circle.
