I’ve said it once and I’ll say it a million times: you are GUARANTEED to fail as a softball player…the quicker you accept that (instead of letting it get to your head every time), the more successful you’ll end up.

What’s tripping you up isn’t the “fail” …it’s the downward spiral you let it take you on. Look for the lesson and move👏🏼on.👏🏼

Give your all. “Fail.” Ask what can be learned from the “fail.” Make your adjustment & give it your all again.

Yes, softball is hard. Life is hard. How blessed we are to learn such valuable life lessons while playing such a fun game.🙌🏼

Super proud of these two athletes for consistently putting in work…the focus, the adjustments rep to rep, the energy, the asking what their homework is to make sure they come back to their next lesson having made improvements…I LOVE working with athletes who truly do desire to level up and are willing to do what it takes to make it happen!!

And my absolute favorite thing? To see the look on a girl’s face when the thing they’ve been working at CLICKS and they realize they’ve unlocked their next level😍🙌🏼But again, those moments can only happen when you PUT IN THE WORK CONSISTENTLY OVER TIME.

Grace & Viv? They are two of the hardest working 10U girls you’ll ever meet!🙌🏼I know they’ve got big goals and I KNOW they’re on their way to making them reality because they aren’t afraid to put in the work to EARN THOSE GOALS👏🏼👏🏼🙌🏼

(PS recognize the catcher? You’ve seen her pitching highlights on here…because she comes to pitching lessons as both a pitcher AND as a catcher for her teammate🔥)

FOURTEEN INNINGS!!👀🥳🙌🏼👏🏼

So so so dang proud of these two athletes! Last night they pitched their hearts out late into the night…Chloe leading Westfield for all fourteen innings and Claire throwing the final ten innings of the game for Noblesville!

The top and bottom of the THIRTEENTH inning saw BOTH of these girls claw their way out of a runners on 2nd & 3rd base jam… That level of mental toughness is SPECIAL!! Even I was feeling the stress of the moment, having been there many times myself, but seeing each of these girls put the team on their back and REFUSE to give in to the pressure?!
GAH! The GRIT. The FIGHT. The HEART!!!

It all came down to the winning run scoring on a defensive throwing error, which is about the only ending my pitching coach heart could take after watching two of my hardest workers battle with everything they had in them!😅

GOSHHHHH IM SO PROUD OF YOU BOTH!! Proud of you for showing out last night and proud of you for working so dang hard throughout the offseason to EARN such a special night!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Slow clap for how hard Viv has been working on her drive!! I showed her this pic of Jordy Bahl’s launch a few weeks ago…and tonight I showed her her own launch positioning progress and she said “hey that looks like one girl you showed me!”
