The Stables at Moore's Springs We offer riding lessons year round for adults and kids ages 5 and up with experienced horses! $40 for an hour long lesson! Use our website to schedule!

Lessons are offered on our premises by an independent instructor, Summer Coates. We also offer gift certificates for those who want to give prepaid lessons as a gift. Summer has experience and training in western. Growing up in a family who regularly rode horses, she spent much of her youth riding locally. The Stables at Moore's Springs is located at the base of Hanging Rock State Park, one of the premier state parks in North Carolina. We offer short-term/weekend boarding for visitors to the area. As a boarder you and your horse will enjoy the following:
- 12 x 12 stalls with mats and an automatic waterer
- Each full boarder receives a tack locker free of charge.
- Acres of lush pasture with safe fencing
- Outside automatic, heated waterers
- High quality hay (fescue/orchard grass)
- Round pen
- Riding arena
- Outdoor washpit
- Indoor washpit
- Routine visits by an exceptional equine veterinarian
- Routine visits by an experienced, competent, vet-endorsed farrier
- Miles of trails including accessibility to Sauratown Trail Association trails

Don’t have a horse? Perfect — we have plenty available! 🐴 Want to expand your skills with your own horse? Bring them along for the weekend! Stalls and trailering options are available. Day options available as well!

Come ride, learn, and enjoy a weekend at the farm with us. 🌾⛰️🍂 Invite your freinds and make it a whole staycation! We're conveniently located near Hanging Rock which has lots of local airbnbs, eateries, and activities to do around Danbury! Our spot makes for the best girls out weekend or couples getaway!

A little pony told me school is back in session and you’re already ready for a break… well, don’t fret! 🤠🙏🐴

Kids Horse Camp is planned and ready for your horse-crazy kids! We’ll spend our time riding, playing fun horseback games, and building confidence in the saddle — all while learning more about horsemanship along the way.

Our final day ends with a trail ride to put those skills to the test! 🍂⛰️🌾

If your kiddo loves horses, riding, and a good adventure, they’ll love what camp has to offer!
