PLAYING UP INTO 16U AND MAKING SOME NOISE!!🔥

Our TN Mojo 2031–Heyman girls took on the 16U division at PGF Rock the Awareness this weekend and battled their way to a 3-1-1 record and a SEMIFINAL APPEARANCE!! 👏🏼

This group continues to show that they aren’t afraid to compete against older, stronger competition…and we LOVE seeing them rise to the challenge!

🔥 A few weekend highlights:

🥎 As a TEAM, our girls hit .333 with a .404 OBP and .943 OPS against the older competition👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼34 hits with 1 HR- shoutout Kennedy Jones! - plus 6 triples and 6 doubles!

💣 THE .400 CLUB!
#13 Hadley Clifton — .500 AVG | .636 OBP | 1.511 OPS
#24 Kennedy Heyman — .400 AVG | .625 OBP | 1.425 OPS

👏🏼 Right on their heels were #8 Tinsley Wetherald and #4 Elsie Clark, both hitting .375 with a 1.194 OPS!

🔥 In the circle, #12 Ella Fairburn executed at a very high level with a 1.50 ERA and 1.179 WHIP over 9.1 innings, while #6 Kennedy Jones posted a 2.739 ERA with 14 Ks in 7 innings of work💪🏼

And can we talk about the DEFENSE?! Our girls made some absolutely EPIC plays this weekend!! We’re saving those highlights for a separate post because some of these plays deserve their own spotlight! 👀🔥

Five games. Older competition. Big moments. Tough battles. A whole lot of GROWTH.

We’re proud of the wins, but even more proud of the way these girls continue to compete, adjust, and fight no matter who is across the diamond. We have plenty of work left to do, and that’s the exciting part…we KNOW there’s another level in this group!

Keep stacking weekends.
Keep raising the bar.
BACK TO WORK, MOJO!! 🧡💙🔥

HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY to our #37, STELLA STIMAC!!🥳🧡💙 This girl is the definition of GRIT!! Stella is hardworking, tough, and the kind of competitor who will give you EVERYTHING she’s got! But one of the things we love most about her? Her HEART. ❤️ She’s the type of kid who will put a teammate on her back, go to WAR for the people she loves, and never think twice about it. Fiercely loyal, relentlessly determined, and always willing to do the hard things…we are SO lucky to have this girl in our Mojo family!! We love you, Stell! Keep being YOU!! 🔥🫶🏼

HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY to our #1, BECKETT BARKER!!🥳🧡💙 This girl is something SPECIAL!! An exceptional athlete who gives everything she has every time she steps on the field, but an even better teammate, friend, and human! 🚨🇺🇸 USA SOFTBALL HIGH PERFORMANCE PROGRAM NATIONAL SELECTION EVENT BOUND!!! 🇺🇸🚨

THIS. IS. HUGE!!! 🔥🔥🔥

We are SO EXCITED to announce that our #2 CHARLEE CAVANAUGH has officially earned an invitation to the USA Softball High Performance Program NATIONAL SELECTION EVENT!! 🇺🇸🥎

After competing at a regional identifier and being evaluated by USA Softball, Charlee was selected to advance to the NATIONAL stage, where she’ll have the opportunity to compete alongside some of the top athletes in her age group from across the country!!

And here’s what makes this opportunity so special…

The USA Softball High Performance Program is designed to identify and develop athletes with the potential to represent the United States on the international stage. The National Selection Event is part of the pathway toward the Junior Women’s National Team! 🇺🇸

Think about that for a second. 🤯

An opportunity to compete against elite talent, be evaluated at the national level, and take another step toward one of the biggest honors in our sport…

We talk all the time about raising the standard, chasing opportunities that challenge you, and refusing to put limits on what you’re capable of.

THIS is what that looks like.

Charlee, we are SO PROUD of you for earning this opportunity!! Your athleticism, competitiveness, and willingness to challenge yourself continue to open doors, and we cannot wait to watch you take on this next one!

Go compete. Go learn. Go show them what you’ve got!

NEXT STOP: VERO BEACH, FLORIDA!! 🇺🇸🔥

3-2 on the weekend and a LOT to be proud of with our squad🔥🧡💙

Our first loss was one we let slip away late…one of those games you know you’d love to have back. But we remind our players constantly that “failures” are just LESSONS you gotta learn to reach your next level👏🏼 Our second loss came against one of the best teams in the country to knock us out in bracket play — exactly the kind of competition we WANT to be playing...

…because if we want to become one of the best, we must embrace every opportunity to learn when we find ourselves across the field from the best. 💯

Offensively the bats were WORKING all weekend long🔥
400 CLUB ⬇️
#1 Beckett Barker — .818🤯
#6 Kennedy Jones — .545
#3 Autumn McDaniel — .500
#2 Charlee Cavanaugh — .500

#8 Tinsley Wetherald — .417

As a TEAM, we hit .441 with 1.156 OPS. 😮‍💨

And apparently we decided the ball didn’t need to leave the park to start circling the bases 😂💨
💣 Charlee Cavanaugh: 2 inside-the-park HRs + 9 RBI
💣 Kennedy Jones: 2 inside-the-park HRs + 7 RBI
💣 Autumn McDaniel: 1 inside-the-park HR + 5 RBI

The Mojo Heyman girls continue to compete with so much grit & heart — and every weekend gives us another glimpse of just how elite this group is becoming.🔥

Lessons learned. Confidence earned.
Bar raised.
