Screaming happiest of birthdays to the fearless founder, ultimate visionary, passionate coach, and tireless leader of iBeach, the one and only Katie Feikes Conner !!!

The original Queen of the Court, Katie’s vision began many years ago as a desire to create a space for community and connection through beach volleyball. Over the years, iBeach has grown from an elevated backyard beach, to a staked claim on owned land, to a flourishing all-inclusive beach volleyball and entertainment destination representing a home base for thousands across the Indy region. Katie’s a friend, a mentor, a leader, an executive, a coach, and most importantly, a mom and family ma’am.

No one loves harder than Katie. The first to celebrate others and last to step into the spotlight, Katie’s day deserves celebration in the biggest way! So if you see her today, this week, or even this year — stop her, hug her, thank her, celebrate her and all that she’s done and continues to do for us all every single day. We literally would be nowhere without Katie, and even in 100 years, would not have the words needed to express our gratitude and love for her.

We like to say, “At iBeach, it’s always 70 and sunny.” Yes, in part because of our year-round indoor and outdoor courts. But that’s only part of the story. 70 and sunny is not just a weather forecast, it’s a state of mind, and one that takes a team with a shared vision to bring it to life.
 
Exceptional customer service, friendly staff, clean and safe facilities, efficient leagues, knowledgeable coaches. None of this happens on its own, but what you may not see is the team behind the scenes making it all work.
 
From our beach desk staff to league directors, juniors coaches to maintenance crews, we truly believe the iBeach team is the best in the biz. Don’t you agree?!
 
To recognize and celebrate our incredible team, we took a little fieldtrip up the road to our friends at SKYLAKE Adventures for an end of summer send-off for our team members who are heading off to college for the school year. Complete with team awards and custom snack buckets, the team flew, jumped, fell, slipped and slided for hours, and of course wrapped it up with a heated match of water volleyball. What a night!
 
To our amazing team, THANK YOU for the best summer season ever! We couldn’t do what we do without YOU, your hard work, and dedication to iBeach and our mission to grow the game of beach volleyball. That’s a wrap for the summer, but we’ll see you right back here for Fall leagues starting next week!
