So great to have former students pay surprise visits. I'm proud that they value the training and relationships they made in the dojo.

The three standing students all started with me when they were the same age as Damien ( doing the split). They represent 15, 25+, and 10 years of training . It's always great to have family come visit.

Nitya gave today's workout everything she had! Really proud of how hard she worked, and this is what it looks like when you push your self to the limit.

Sensei Kevin was quite impressed with his first class with Lucas. His yellow belt pre test was a huge success!

I'd like to congratulate my good friend and longest continually training student, Jesse Cabrera on his promotion to 5th Dan. He is my first student to earn the title of Master, and it is well deserved.

Themi started off test week successfully by enduring a very physical exam. Some students require more rigorous trials to truly push themselves past their perceived limits. Great job, Themi! Next up, beginner, and advanced kids tonight.
