We now have another example of an armed private citizen who engaged and helped stop an active shooter in Idaho on Saturday as pictured below.

He reportedly began training with fi****ms seriously after a mall shooting in 2021 about 2 hours away from where this event took place.

Kudos to the off-duty Trooper who responded as well.

Our next PISTOL PERMIT COURSE is July 18th and 19th! Certified in 10 counties! Please note that this course is at an alternative location.

Worth noting is that valid pistol permit holders in NYS can get their permit endorsed for semi-automatic rifle ownership. Right now there is no additional training requirement for a semi-automatic rifle license. Successful completion of this course would allow you the opportunity to obtain your pistol permit and semi auto rifle license!

🔨 ARMORER’S TIP🪛

Glocks can be reassembled incorrectly. A common way we see this is that the EDP (extractor depressor plunger) is reinstalled backwards. Remember: “metal on metal and plastic on plastic” when reassembling the slide.

Now that you are armed with this knowledge, check your buddies gun the next time you are at the range. If it’s installed incorrectly you can have a little fun at his expense then turn it into a teachable moment.

Also, It’s ok if you are heading to your safe right now to double check your guns. 👀
