Spec Tennis was invented in 2016 in Northern California by Nate Gross.
Played on a Pickleball court, Spec Tennis uses a circular-shaped paddle with holes and a low compression (50% lighter than a regular tennis ball) orange dot tennis ball.
It combines the elements of tennis, racquetball, beach tennis, pop tennis, table tennis and pickleball, with a unique feel of it.
