Meet You in Kentucky is a yearly gathering of group practice owners that gives us the opportunity to slow down, reset, gain clarity, and learn from one another. Every year, I leave with new ideas, renewed purpose, and a deeper appreciation for this work.

This experience is a great reminder of why I do what I do—not just building a business, but creating opportunities for clinicians to thrive and helping more people access quality mental health care.

Thank you to Kasey and the entire team for continuing to provide this space for connection, growth, and honest conversations. The relationships built here are just as valuable as the knowledge shared.

See you next year, Kentucky! ❤️

Last Thursday, NAWBO South Florida celebrated one of the most anticipated events of the year—the Board of Directors Installation and Passing of the Gavel Ceremony.

It was a wonderful evening honoring our outgoing board members for their leadership, dedication, and service, while welcoming the incredible women who will help guide our chapter in the year ahead.

I am honored and excited to continue my leadership journey as the DEIB Co-Chair for the upcoming term. I look forward to serving alongside such a talented, passionate, and inspiring group of women who are committed to supporting and empowering women business owners throughout our community.

Thank you to everyone who makes NAWBO South Florida such a powerful organization. Here's to a year of growth, collaboration, and impact!

As I step down as Chair of Women Leading Broward Class XIII, I do so with a heart full of gratitude and admiration.

When this journey began, I was honored and excited to step into a role connected to a program that continues to inspire growth, connection, and leadership across our community.

Today, I look back with so much pride at the transformation that took place, not only within myself, but within the incredible women of Class XIII.

Over the past five months, I witnessed courage, vulnerability, connection, and leadership evolve in the most beautiful ways.

Class XIII, thank you for showing up fully, leaning into the process, and reminding us what it means to lead with purpose and heart.

As I now step into the role of Immediate Past Chair, I am excited to continue supporting our WLB alumni sisterhood and cheering on the next chapter.

Wishing Alex Llerena tremendous success as she steps into the Chair role for Class XIV. I know she will lead with vision, creativity, and heart, and I cannot wait to see all that Class XIV will become.

With deep gratitude,
Monica

The magic of sisterhood. 💜✨

This is what five months of authentic connection looks like. Small groups. Real conversations. Women showing up for each other without masks, without pretense, just pure sisterhood.

Our Class XIII women discovered their strengths, challenged their assumptions, and built friendships that will last a lifetime. They learned that leadership isn't about being perfect—it's about being real, being brave, and lifting others as you climb.

The conversations that happened in these small groups? That's where the real transformation occurred. That's where women found their voice, their confidence, their authentic leadership.

To our graduates: You've created something special. Keep showing up for each other. Keep leading boldly. The world needs your voices. 🌟

You did it Class XIII! 🎓💜

These incredible women just completed their five-month journey with Women Leading Broward Class XIII. From self-awareness breakthroughs to authentic leadership discoveries—these women have evolved together and are ready to lead boldly.

Watching our graduates walk across that stage was pure joy. The growth, the connections, the sisterhood—it's real, it's powerful, and it's just the beginning.

To our Class XIII graduates: You've shown up, been vulnerable, challenged yourselves, and lifted each other up. That's the mark of true leaders. We can't wait to see where your leadership takes you next.

Welcome to the WLB alumni family! 🌟

Our Class XIII women have shown up with intention, vulnerability, and courage. They've uncovered their strengths, clarified their mission, learned to lead without a title, taken strategic risks, and built something irreplaceable—a sisterhood that sees them, supports them, and believes in their potential.

But Session V isn't about closing a chapter. It's about asking the questions that matter: What will I carry forward? How will I continue evolving? How do I lean into this sisterhood as I step into the next phase of my leadership?

Because the real work happens after WLB. It happens when you're back in your boardroom, your office, your community—carrying the clarity, confidence, and connection you've built here. It happens when you reach back to lift up another woman. It happens when you show up authentically, knowing you're part of something bigger than yourself.

To our Class XIII: You've evolved. You've grown. You've discovered who you are as a leader. Now it's time to decide who you'll become—and we'll be right here, evolving alongside you.

Welcome home to the sisterhood. This is just the beginning. 💜

A beautiful way to wrap up our Women Leading Broward Class XIII journey. ❤️

Thank you to our WLB Leading Lady and Class alum, Julia Aquino, for helping us bring the past five months full circle. Julia guided us in reflecting on who we are, the choices we make, and how we can step boldly into our own “superwoman” capabilities by believing in ourselves and the impact we are meant to create.

What a powerful reminder that leadership is not just about what we do, but about how we continue to rise, evolve, and choose courage, even when challenges come our way.

To all the women who showed up, leaned in, reflected, grew, and embraced this journey: may you continue to evolve, believe in yourselves, and step confidently into the future you are creating. ✨

What an inspiring day at the 11th Annual Behavioral Health Conference hosted by United Way Broward's Coalition on Behavioral Health & Drug Prevention, in collaboration with Broward Behavioral Health Coalition and the Florida Department of Children & Families.

It was a wonderful opportunity to learn, connect, and engage in meaningful conversations around behavioral health, prevention, policy, research, and the needs of our community.

I left feeling grateful for the work being done across Broward and South Florida to support mental health, reduce stigma, and strengthen access to care. Events like this remind me how powerful collaboration can be when we come together with a shared mission to support individuals, families, and communities.

Thank you to all the speakers, organizers, and community partners who made this conference so impactful.
