So most of you that know me, are aware I rarely post on Facebook. However after my yoga practice at home today, while laying in savasana, looking up at the sky, I found the slow movement of the clouds so peaceful and meditative.

This video is 60 seconds, perhaps listen to it or watch it and for those 60 seconds take mindful full inhales and exhales

Right now I encourage everyone to step outside in your yard, patio, or wherever you are and take even only 60 seconds to lay and look upwards and mindfully breathe each day.

This will pass eventually

Fewer than 10% of patients with low back pain need forward bending exercises to primarily resolve their pain. Unfortunately I almost always find that people are doing this - often prescribed by a medical professional. Forward bending (rounding your low back) exercises include toe touching, knee(s) to chest, child's pose, and any number of hip or leg stretches in which the low back rounds. The majority of people with low back pain need the opposite movement (extension), while some need rotation or sideglide. By performing a thorough evaluation, we can find what motion your back needs. Only very rarely will you be given bending motions because - even though it might temporarily feel good - it will not likely help in the long run.
