[03/23/16]   A note from Carolyn Barker:

The Grayland Players are planning A FAMILY FUN NIGHT/ COME TO THE CIRCUS! Sat. May 7th at 7pm and Sunday May 8th 2pm (Mother's Day)

We would love for you to bring some of your unicycle kids to perform.

The plan is to incorporate local talents along with a hired professional Magician and Puppeteer. There will be Carnival themed activities at the GraylandCommunity Hall.
Games, food, etc..

I would love as many as 5 to 12 kids who are relatively stable with their riding, to ride the circle on the main floor. Pretty much just a round d'round.

Our theme is Circus, so they can dress in bright colorful clothing. We would supply the big clown collar and bow tie. Big red cheeks too if they like.

Wednesday night (March 30) at 6:30 will be a gathering of those interested in performing. Please come and join us. We will need neck sizes of the riders, so we can make collars and ties.

[03/09/16]   FAMILY NIGHT makes a return: Wednesday, March 9th from 6:30 -7:30 p.m. in the Community Gym.

[01/03/16]   From Unicycle.com:

Here are the top five benefits to unicycle in the new year:

1) Unicycling hones your balance and your mind, as we age balance becomes even more important. Riding not only helps keep your balance in check, it also helps your agility.

2) Riding on a unicycle with a 24" wheel 3 miles is equivalent to jogging both in calories burnt and time it takes. Most would agree riding a unicycle is more fun than jogging. For those who love jogging, alternating workouts is good for cross training.

3) There are so many different ways to enjoy unicycling, different activities you can include a unicycle in to keep unicycling fresh. The general rule is if you can walk it, you can ride it.

4) If you unicycle at least 10 to 15 minutes everyday you will find you have less stress and feel better, you will also have more of a positive outlook on things.

5) A good New Years Resolution to keep unicycling fresh is to choose a trick, distance or a different discipline of riding to focus on during the year. All types of riding compliment each other.

The newest ride got put together and taken for a test today. It is a RIOT! It's called the "Hoppley."

[10/21/15]   Meet us at the Community Gym tonight at 6:30 to ride (or watch others), smile, laugh, and have fun at our second Family Night.

[10/16/15]   Next Wednesday evening UFO will host another "Family Night" from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the Community Gym.

[10/13/15]   UFO will sponsor another Jr/Sr High School ONLY ride tomorrow (Wednesday) evening in the Community Gym from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. All are welcome regardless of skill level.
