New reciprocity win for NH carriers.

Wisconsin now officially recognizes the New Hampshire Pistol/Revolver License — meaning NH permit holders 21+ can carry concealed in Wisconsin, as long as they follow Wisconsin’s carry laws.

A few key points: you still need an actual NH permit (constitutional carry alone doesn’t count), Wisconsin residents must have a WI license, and reciprocity rules can change with future DOJ audits.

REPORT 2A INFRINGEMENTS BY LOCAL LICENSING OFFICIALS TO THE POST COMMISSION
With years of court battles by several organizations and very little changes in local policies, GOAL is recommending that citizens who are facing unconstitutional firearm licensing issues at the local level should file a civil rights complaint with the Massachusetts POST Commission.

FI****MS LICENSING SAFETY CERTIFICATE UPDATE
Effective April 2, 2026

Starting April 2, 2026, Massachusetts will implement updated training requirements for fi****ms safety certification. This includes additional instruction and a live-fire component to obtain the certificate required for a License to Carry (LTC).

Here’s what you need to know:

• LTC issued before August 1, 2024 - No additional training required

• Applied and issued after August 1, 2024, but completed your safety course before April 2, 2026 - Updated training required before your next renewal.

• Apply after April 2, 2026 - The new fi****ms safety course is required. Basic Fi****ms Safety Courses taken and dated before April 2, 2026, will still be accepted.

Note: The live-fire portion is still being finalized. Until live-fire training is fully implemented, it does not need to be included in the course.

Important: The date you completed your fi****ms safety course determines if you need the new training — not the date you submit your application to the police department.

Tonight, we completed our last NRA Home Fi****ms Safety Training Class, which was attended by a fantastic group of people and friends. We began this initiative in 2009 with the goal of providing training for friends and family, and it has been a tremendous success. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet and train many outstanding individuals. At this time, we will not be offering the new training course and specified requirements that the state of Massachusetts has implemented. I am investigating the possibility of offering the Utah 30 State license training and the NRA Home Defense Class. I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to everyone for their loyalty and dedication. Thank you, Robert Thatcher.
