It was a dream to film with Rhone for their August 12th Pursuit: Movement.

In the video I say it plainly: movement is a prayer to feel better in my body.

But it holds so many meanings beyond that.

I want so much for my life, and for my children, and it’s in every small thing I do. It’s the vehicle forward.

Whether you’re spinning from the ceiling, reaching down to touch your toes, or just moving toward a goal — it’s completely at the center of it all.

at 25, I was doing 3-hour yoga sessions as a “living mannequin” in Lululemon’s windows for 1 shirt.

now, I’m blown away looking around a room full of women whose lives have been changed by this work — who show up for themselves, and for each other.

75 women, outfitted in a gorgeous setting. what a full circle moment.

15 years and a new friendship opened this door. doors open quietly.

so much family in the room, including my mom, my daughter, and my husband — the one who told me I had to go out on my own.

just the beginning.
