The past 2 years have completely changed my perspective.
What started in January 2025 as unexplained neurological symptoms led me down a path I never expected. I eventually discovered that our home had mold, and after continuing to search for answers, I decided to do a Prenuvo scan. Thatâs when doctors found a large adrenal tumor.
We didnât know what it was or whether it was cancer. Surgery was the only way to find out. Thankfully, it turned out to be benignâa very rare nerve sheath tumor called a schwannoma.
As scary as this journey has been, it has taught me something Iâll carry with me forever: We canât control everything that happens to us, but we can control how we show up for ourselves.
For me, movement became therapy. It became the one constant I could rely on. On the hardest days, training wasnât about PRs or aestheticsâit was about reminding myself that my body was still capable, resilient, and worth fighting for.
This experience has made me appreciate my health in a way I never did before. It has reminded me to stop waiting for the âright time,â to live fully, and to take ownership of the things I can control.
If thereâs one thing I hope you take away from my story, itâs this: donât take your health for granted. Move your body. Advocate for yourself. Listen when something feels off. And never underestimate how powerful taking care of yourself can be.
Because without your health, everything else becomes secondary. â€ïž
We donât believe in one-size-fits-all. We build strength around youâbecause the details make all the difference.
You know her kick-ass workouts & killer playlists.
But who is Coach Morgan when the music stops?
On this episode of Cold Ones, we dive into the experiences that shaped her, why she believes strength changes lives, and the mindset she hopes every woman walks away with.
Grab a cold one and get to know Morgan. đ§
Women were never lacking strength. They were just rarely encouraged to build it.
7 out of 10 women canât do a push-upânot because theyâre incapable, but because they were never empowered to.
Letâs change that.
Build strength. Build confidence. Rewrite the script.
Whoâs getting their first push-up this year? đȘ
The greatest transformation isnât physicalâitâs discovering a version of yourself you never knew existed.
Over the last year, Tanner and Nicolle have done just that. What started as simply showing up turned into something deeper. Tanner found confidence through strength, and Nicolle stepped outside her comfort zone to complete HYROXâproving sheâs capable of so much more than she once believed.
But what inspires us most isnât what theyâve done individuallyâitâs what theyâve built together.
Life gets busy. Schedules fill up. Yet they keep choosing this timeânot just for their health, but for each other.
The gym has become their space to reconnect. To laugh. To push. To grow side by side.
And that growth carries into everythingâinto their work, their relationship, and the way they show up in life.
This is what Recess is all about.
Becoming your best selfâand doing it alongside the people you love.
Weâre so proud to have Tanner and Nicolle in the Recess family. Hereâs to many more workouts, milestones, and memories together. đ€
Confidence isnât built when everyone is watching.
Itâs built in the early mornings.
The extra rep.
The weight you didnât think you could lift.
The days you show up when no one would blame you for staying home.
Quietly.
Consistently.
Over and over again.
Then one day, what once felt impossible looks effortless.
Thatâs not confidence you were born with.
Thatâs confidence you earned.
Coach Morgan is proof that the work you do in the shadows always shows up in the light.
The lights get lower.
The music gets louder.
The energy gets higher.
This is our version of nightlife.
đ„¶ Cold Ones returns.
