Our run at Shipyard came to an end today in the semifinals. The boys battled all the way to the bottom of the last inning in a 0-0 game before falling 1-0. Blake Labriola was given the MVP.
This week sure has been a fun one. These boys played their hearts out, fought for each other, and grew closer as a band of brothers both on and off the field. Watching them compete, support one another, and make memories together has been something special.
As coaches and parents, we couldn’t be prouder. They’re growing up right before our eyes—not just as baseball players, but as young men. The season may be over, but the lessons learned, the bonds strengthened, and memories created will last a whole lot longer than any scoreboard.
