Coosa Rock practice Rappel Clinic
Sat. Sept. 26th
9am to 4pm
There will be a practice rappel Clinic at Coosa Rock on Sept. 26th from 9am to 4pm.
This clinic is being primarily offered to any of the participants / racers (as well as rappel volunteers) in the Coosa River Challenge scheduled for the following weekend on Oct, 3rd.
However, it is also a OPEN clinic for anyone interested in an excellent experience to learn and practice good rappel techniques.
Coosa Rock is a 110 foot rock slab that is a excellent place to learn or practice solid rappel techniques.
There will be actually 2 time slots; 9am to 12 or 1pm to 4pm, so specify which you wish to attend?
No experience is necessary and all equipment needed is provided.

We will meet in the dirt parking lot of the Boat Launch below Jordan Dam between either 830 to 9am or 1230 to 1pm before hiking over to Coosa Rock.
