To finish the week, Non Detto, Pure Love, Shadows in the Margins, and Devil in Disguise all earned Platinum awards. Lonely received a Platinum and the Music in Motion Special Award, and And So It Goes earned a Platinum along with an Overall Award for Emotional Ex*****on.

More than the awards, I’m proud of the way these dancers showed up this week—with determination, resilience, and a willingness to keep working. They supported one another, embraced every challenge, and left the stage better than they arrived.

Thank you for an unforgettable week of hard work, growth, laughter, and memories I’ll hold onto for a long time. Congratulations on an incredible Nationals. Now it’s time to rest, recharge... and get excited for everything next season has in store 💙⚓️🩰

Today wasn’t just about the awards—it was about resilience, teamwork, and rising to every challenge that came our way.

I’m so proud of all four of our soloists for earning Platinum awards, and a special congratulations to Charlotte on receiving the “Light, Lovely, and Lifted” special award!✨

A huge congratulations to Days Like These on their Platinum award, a special award for their beautiful port de bras, and an incredible 4th Overall Teen Intermediate Duo/Trio finish.

I’m especially proud of Maya and Lexy, who learned earlier today that they would be performing as a duo after their trio partner’s flight was unexpectedly canceled. They adapted with positivity, trusted each other, and walked onto the Nationals stage with confidence. What could have been a stressful situation became a testament to their resilience and dedication.

Days like today remind me that success isn’t measured only by placements—it’s found in courage, perseverance, and the way these dancers support one another.

Yesterday, we celebrated our 13th annual recital, and I honestly don’t know if I have the words to express how grateful I am.
This season has reminded me why I love what I do. Every class, every rehearsal, every challenge, every milestone led to yesterday—and watching the dancers take the stage with confidence and joy made every moment worthwhile.
To my dancers: thank you for trusting me, working hard, lifting each other up, and pouring your hearts into every rehearsal. Watching you grow as dancers and as people is the greatest privilege.
To our dance families: thank you for believing in South Shore Dance Academy and for allowing me to be a small part of your children’s lives. Thank you for every car ride, every costume change, every encouraging word, and every sacrifice you make so your dancers can do what they love.
To my incredible parent volunteers: I could never do this alone. Thank you for stepping in wherever you were needed, keeping everything running smoothly backstage, calming nervous dancers, and making yesterday possible. Your generosity and kindness never go unnoticed.
And to every grandparent, sibling, family member, and friend who spent their weekend with us—thank you. Thank you for filling the audience with love, applause, and encouragement. Your support means the world to our dancers and to me.
Our recital theme was Luck & Lore, but what happened on that stage wasn’t luck. It was the result of months of dedication, resilience, teamwork, and heart. That’s the real magic.
This year has been one of the most fulfilling of my career, and I couldn’t be more thankful for this community. Thank you for trusting me, believing in this studio, and making South Shore Dance Academy feel like home.
