Don’t wait until there is a problem to enroll your kids in Jiu Jitsu.

Think of Jiu Jitsu like insurance. Nobody is trying to crash their car but when accidents happen you are real happy you have insurance.

Nobody wants to imagine their kid being victimized at school but it’s better to be prepared and not need it, than find yourself in a situation where you have to protect yourself and not know how.

If your child is being picked on or bullied at school comment “bully” below and I will personally reach out to help get your kiddo the help they need.

Nobody deserves to live in fear.

Master defending the front headlock and you can shoot with impunity. 🔒

I shoot, he sprawls, now the games begin.

Look towards the choking arm, get a cross grip on the elbow and circle towards the back.

If he stays put, you score with your Sucker Drag.

If he circles with you, switch hands on the elbow, knee drive and block his leg to hit your Kelly Dump.

Once you know the system, it’s not if you score, it’s when.

Yesterday after a tough comp class I had the privilege of recognizing all the progress that Tommy Salazar has made on the mats in his Jiu Jitsu journey. Tommy started training all the way back in 2018 but has moved around a lot so he managed to avoid promotion until now. There is no denying his skills on the mats. He has solid wrestling, excellent submission defense and a “never say die” mentality that means he is always dangerous. Tommy has been a tremendous addition to our team and I am grateful to call him a 10th Planet Denver Blue Belt. Keep up the great work champ!

Today Danny Capuano received his 10th Planet Blue Belt. Danny has been a picture of consistency ever since joining the gym. He made a commitment to himself to continue to show up regardless of how he’s feeling. When you make a commitment the universe responds to that commitment, not by grinding you under, but by lifting you up.

If there is something you are putting off, let this be your sign to commit to your growth and go all in. Nothing is more common than wasted talent. Talent means nothing unless you commit. If there is something you want in your life, commit to it, write it down, speak it in your prayers, and above all, show up everyday chasing it and it becomes inevitable.
