Some of my favorite pics from sailing on silva bans. This wooden gaff rigged cutter isn't fast, but it is really classy!

In the argument of which works better as a kayak sail, there is a clear winner.
Weird round goofy looking pop out sail is far more effective than a boat hook hastily shoved through a hoodie.

While acting busier than I actually was, doing dock repair at DOYC headquarters, I gazed upon the gleaming mudflat (due to the -3.1 tide today) and had an awesome idea!
There should be an event! An event where people race across the mudflat!! What do we call this event and who wants to participate??!

These high quality DOYC stickers have no problem sticking to concrete.
Have you ever wondered how to jump a starter with a screwdriver?? Look no further than this informative step by step video!

At tonight's impromptu DOYC meeting we were provided with a gift from the water, some bass!
When life hands you bass, you cook them.
We made bass flavored bass at the bonsai bar and grill while listening to blues music on the radio and it was amazing!
See pictures for step by step recipe.

Good evening fellow DOYC'S!!
At approximately just after lunch time today I spotted this derelict kayak lodged upon the stumps across the river.
I eagerly waited until after work to paddle over there in my kayak and retrieve this thing.
Right after work (and a beverage) just as I suspected, it was a derelict kayak!
I also found a bunch of trash so I threw it all in the kayak to haul back across the river.
While I was sorting for recycling, I found a message in a bottle! (Message in pics)
So, give me your best response to this! I want to send them an email about throwing plastic bottles in the river.
