Dear MTDF Families,

We wanted to provide an important update regarding the start of our 2026–2027 dance season.

Unfortunately, dance classes will not begin this Monday, September 14th as we had hoped. There are still a few things being worked on at the studio before we are able to safely and comfortably use Studios 2, 3, and 4.

Our top priority is making sure that our studio is a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all of our dancers, families, and staff. While we are eager to get back to dancing, there are still some things that need to be taken care of before we can officially begin classes.

We will make another announcement as soon as we know for sure when classes can begin. We are hoping it will be very soon!! We truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support as we work through this process.

We also want to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has come out to the studio to help clean, work, and get things ready. Your time, hard work, and willingness to help mean more than you know. We are so grateful for our MTDF family!

We can’t wait to have our dancers back in the studio and dancing again! 🧡🖤

This morning our dance studio caught fire, and to say we are devastated is an understatement. Mrs. Tana’s Dance Factory is so much more than four walls. It’s a place filled with memories, laughter, hard work, friendships, dreams, and countless special moments shared by our dancers and families. Watching that space be damaged is heartbreaking.

But we want everyone to know that this is not the end of our dance family. 🧡 We are already looking into options and possibilities for a temporary space so that we can still hold classes when the new season begins. We may have to make some changes and figure things out along the way, but we are determined to keep our dancers dancing.

Thank you in advance for your prayers, love, patience, and support as we navigate the days ahead. We truly have the best dance family, and we know that together, we will get through this. 🧡

A very special thank you to the White Hall Fire Department and White Hall Police Department for responding so quickly and for everything they did this morning. We are incredibly grateful for your service and dedication. Also, thank you to Scott Curry, Brad Spurlin, Matt and Kim Soto, Mike and Ashley Reynolds and everyone else that came to lend a helping hand.
