May Martial Arts will be having a Black Belt Test on Saturday, April 18th.
We will be streaming it on Zoom for any Instructors that are available to sit in on a virtual board.
The test will start at 11:00 am EST at our school in LaGrange, Georgia.

AFAF dominance on display in the 12-13 year old beginner sparring division as AFAF members from TNT Taekwondo and Bly's Martial Arts Academy take 1st through 3rd place edging out other competition. Congratulations to Max with bronze, Andrew Silver and Aiden taking home the Gold!
I wanted to share Andrew's second place rendition of the AFAF Bo Form. While we of course have a lot of work to do, for a yellow belt he killed it! Congratulations.

It's with a heavy heart that I share the passing of a great man and the reason AFAF and UFAF exist. He was albeit indirectly an important part of my life. As my instructor's teacher, what he poured into Mr. Tirschel was in turn poured into me, my father and countless AFAF and UFAF students. ~Jamie Yowell

Three American Fighting Arts Federation Schools have come together to prepare for the Arkansas Show Down on March 21st, 2026 in Russellville Arkansas. Former multiple national sparring champion, Shihan Keith Bly and student's from Bly's Martial Arts came from Little Rock to TNT Taekwondo located in Carlisle Arkansas to work on sport karate point fighting techniques. Additionally, multiple national weapons champion Jamie Yowell has been helping TNT Taekwondo with their weapons curriculum and has helped prepared some of the students to test their skills in the traditional weapons division at one of the best sport karate events in Arkansas. TNT's instructors, Miss Tabitha Turner and Mr. Todd Turner have been assisting students with continuous sparring. Schools and instructors coming together is what makes and keeps AFAF strong!

Some of our young AFAF Black Belts helping this weekend at the Natural State Natural State Classic. Citouri Hamblin (Whitehall MA) scorekeeping, Noel Koder, RN Medic (Yowell Karate), and Gauge Hunt (TNT Taekwondo) helping coach his teammates. Our young ones are the future of martial arts.
