To help provide heat wave relief, we’re opening early at our pools this week.

Congratulations to Sia Tofano, Community Center Director presented with the Lifetime Award from Westchester Recreation & Parks Society. Lifetime awards are presented to Recreation Professionals who recently retired or will retire in the current year. Sia’s last day with the City of White Plains will be July 17. thank you for all your years of service Sia!!

🌸🌿 A Beautiful Day at the New York Botanical Garden! 🌿🌸
Our White Plains Community Center travelers enjoyed a wonderful day exploring the breathtaking beauty of the New York Botanical Garden and its vibrant Flower Power exhibit. From colorful displays inspired by the spirit of the 1960s to stunning gardens in full bloom, the day was filled with beauty, laughter, and great company.
A highlight of the trip was strolling through the magnificent rose garden, taking in the spectacular floral displays, and sharing memories with friends old and new.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this outing such a success. We look forward to many more adventures together!
