The next Glacier Cyclery/Whitefish Legacy Partners - The Whitefish Trail ride is this Thursday, June 6 with a ride theme "Pump pedals, not gas." We'll be meeting here at the store and riding from here to the Lion Mountain trailhead to explore trails from there. No reason to drive to the trailhead when you have a bike! With the recent amount of rain we've seen and still more in the forecast, this ride will be weather and trail condition permitting. If it is pouring/storming OR if the trails are too muddy with potential for trail damage, we will postpone. Stay tuned for updates, or give us a call at Glacier Cyclery for more info.

Glacier Cyclery/Whitefish Legacy Partners - The Whitefish Trail group rides kick off tonight with a mellow meander from Beaver Lakes Trailhead at 6pm. Mileage/elevation TBD - we'll let the group and the weather decide. Plus it's Hit the Trail Challenge month so for those of you clocking your miles, you're supporting the trails just by showing up.

100 miles later and we are back! It was a typical gorgeous Montana spring weekend: sunny, rainy, snowy, cold, warm and way too much fun. Fueled by burritos and then a few more burritos, we pedaled our way to Hot Springs and back. The dirt roads on the route were so (not) busy that lunches and snack breaks were literally in the middle of the road. The only traffic was a bear, ground squirrels and endless deer. It's a grand lollipop-shaped loop and if you've never ridden it, you owe it to yourself. If you want route info or other bikepacking overnighter ideas, stop by the shop!

The only thing better than a day working with our fun crew? A day riding with them. We are closing up the shop this Saturday for an employee retreat, spending the day sharing our passion for all things bikes. We'll be here Friday 10-6 and back on Monday when we switch over to 9am openings.

Two lucky Clean the Fish participants tomorrow are going to win a bike, compliments of Glacier Cyclery and Glacier Bank! It feels so good to support Glacier Bank 's Clean the Fish community day. Everyone comes together to make their neighborhoods look a bit better, there's free lunch and good times when the clean up is done, and two young volunteers can ride away on a new bike. AND Glacier Cyclery is located right across the street so you can stop in and say Hi!

The weather is looking like Spring, and so is our Event Calendar! Good things happening, kicked off with a Fix-A-Flat Clinic on May 5. We've got group mountain bike rides planned again starting in May, a collab with Whitefish Legacy Partners - The Whitefish Trail and Flathead Area Mountain Bikers. Dates to be announced!
