One of the best parts of traveling is stumbling across places you never would have found otherwise.
This week, that was Taco Tuesday at the VFW Post 276 in Whitefish, MT. Nothing fancy—just good tacos, friendly fellow vets, and a relaxed evening sharing stories and laughs.
After months on the road, it's these simple moments that often stand out the most. Not the big attractions or famous landmarks, but the chance to connect with a community and feel welcome, even if only for a few hours.
A great meal, good company, and another reminder that some of the best travel memories happen when you least expect them.

Three days in, and Yellowstone continues to impress us.

Today wasn't just about the geysers, wildlife, and incredible scenery. We also had the chance to tour Fort Yellowstone and learn about the fascinating history of the park. Long before the National Park Service existed, the U.S. Army was responsible for protecting Yellowstone, and Fort Yellowstone played a key role in preserving this incredible place for future generations.
It's easy to get caught up in the natural wonders, but learning the stories behind the park added a whole new appreciation for what we're experiencing.
Three days of adventure, history, wildlife, and unforgettable views—and Yellowstone still has more to offer.

❄️ Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, Iceland 🇮🇸

We visited this incredible place back in 2017. At Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, ancient icebergs break away from Breiðamerkurjökull, an outlet of Vatnajökull, Europe’s largest glacier, before drifting toward Diamond Beach.

It’s no surprise this stunning landscape was featured in two James Bond movies. One of those places that leaves a lasting impression long after the journey ends.

Another day of exploring, and honestly, we're still amazed by this place.
From watching Old Faithful erupt to spotting wildlife and taking in the endless scenery, Yellowstone has a way of making you slow down and appreciate the moment. Every turn seems to reveal something different, and every stop turns into a longer stop than planned.
We came expecting beautiful landscapes, but it's the variety and the sheer scale of everything that has impressed us the most.

Day 2 is in the books, and we're already talking about coming back someday.

The glass-like water mirrors the mountains and painted sky, creating one of those rare moments when everything feels perfectly still. The soft colors, distant peaks, and endless reflections make it hard to tell where the lake ends and the sky begins. ****complete relaxation******
