Please welcome Maxavier, the Head Coach of our youth climbing teams and one of our Route Setters. Maxavier started working for us in 2025, but has been climbing for 9 years.

He loves how everyone in the climbing community is so chill. Outside of climbing he enjoys surfing, video games, One Piece, and disc golf.

Maxavier has been route setting for about 9 years and says that it is create fun, challenging and repeatable climbs. His favorite holds are jugs and pinches.

Come down to GV Lehigh Valley from 6pm to 8pm and try out for our Youth Climbing Teams next Wednesday!

We are offering four levels of teams, ranging from Recreational to Competitive, catering to a diversity of skill levels. If your child is passionate about climbing and eager to take it to the next level, we invite them to attend our open tryouts.

Please give a big hello to Olivia, our wonderful Site Manager who started working for the Gravity Vault in January 2025. She is the OG for Lehigh!!
She started her climbing journey in 2022 at NJ Rock Gym.

We asked Olivia some questions to get to know her:

What do you like about the community?
It is fun how different everyone is, you can get engineers and accountants in the same friend group as librarians and teachers. When everyone is climbing, they always have at least one thing in common.

What do you enjoy in life outside of climbing?
I like making things, in all sorts of mediums and manners (painting, drawing, sewing, natural dyeing, and more). I have a community garden plot which occupies much of my time in the summer. I also love a good frolic and forage in the woods, PA has proven quite fruitful!

Favorite outdoor climb or climbing destination?
My favorite place to climb has to be the New River Gorge. There's something so magical about climbing tucked in among the rhododendrons.

Favorite style of climbing?
Classic ol' techy crimpy slab

Climbing shoe of choice?
Lately it's been La Sportiva Mantras but I will always love my Madrock Remoras, so comfy!

Hello, my name is Morgan and I am the General Manager of Gravity Vault Flemington and Lehigh Valley gyms.

I found the sport of rock climbing in 2005 when my college friend wanted to try the sport at this little tiny hole in the wall gym in New York City. My first harness was a Black Diamond harness and a pair of MadRock shoes! My very first trip climbing outdoors was in Red Rocks and Utah in 2015 and it was epic! It was the first time I tried crack climbing!

I started working in the industry in 2016 working part time at the Gravity Vault Middletown gym where I taught classes, birthday parties and other programs until I worked up to assistant manager. Then I went on to be the operations manager at Reach Climbing & Fitness before I found my way back to the Gravity Vault community!!

I love how it doesn’t matter if you have met a climber once or fifty times, you are already their friend. The climbing community is so supportive and genuine and it is what makes me continue to be a part of it both working and climbing. Outside of the world of climbing I also enjoy being creative, whether it's dabbling in pottery, stained glass, glass blowing, stamp carving, making jewelry, basically I walk into a craft store and already have a new hobby. With a master’s in zoology I also have an obsession with nature and animals. I love to go birding or just be outside. I am also building a zoo out of Lego! I also enjoy live music and collecting records. Next time you see me in the gym feel free to share your music recommendations with me!!

Favorite outdoor climb or climbing destination? It has to be the Gunk’s because it is where I feel the most familiar on the climbs and where I have made some great personal achievements in climbing that I am really proud of, like my first trad lead (Betty) or just top roping my favorite 5.9 climb Ant’s Line or my favorite 5.7 which is called V-3.

I look forward to more connections with our community at the gym and striving to make Gravity Vault Flemington and Lehigh Valley the best gyms they can be!
