From Rhee Gold: Dance teacher, choreographer, author, publisher and respected leader in the dance world.

“There’s a part of the dance journey we don’t talk about enough.

For the time kids are in the studio, their phones are put away. They’re moving, listening to music, working with other people, and paying attention to what’s happening around them.

They make friends. They learn how to speak up and how to listen. They figure out how to work through a hard step without giving up. And they build strength and stamina while doing something they enjoy.

We can get so focused on how much a child improves as a dancer that we forget to notice the rest of it. Think about the child who was nervous to walk into class in September and now can’t wait to see the friends they’ve made.

That’s part of the dance journey, too.

Have an awesome day and enjoy the journey--Rhee” ✌💕

A HUGE thank you to all of our Dance Centre families & teachers who came out to support our dancers in the Roche de Boeuf Parade! Rain or Shine, the Show Must Go On!

Even with the rain, our JPG, our dancers who joined us for the performance, & younger dancers who walked in the parade absolutely SHINED—even though the sun wasn’t shining!

A special thank you to Miss Katie, Miss Andrea, Miss Izzy, & Miss Brittany for helping prepare our dancers for their parade performance. Your time, energy, & dedication are so appreciated!

We are so proud of all of our dancers for dancing through the rain with such enthusiasm & spirit. And most of all, we are so grateful for our wonderful Dance Centre families. We cherish each & every one of you!
