The tradition lives on! 💙⚾

A huge thank you to Latrobe Glass & Mirror for donating our amazing new marquee sign board! It perfectly keeps the vintage Whitney vibe alive, and we’re honored to carry on a tradition that so many know and love… iykyk! 😉

Today, that sign welcomes its very first visitors as we host the Westmoreland County Old Timers League. We can’t wait to see the memories made at Whitney!

⚾️🏈⛳️ Plot twist: the Whitney Athletic Club loves ALL sports!

We may spend plenty of time at the ball field, but today we’re trading bats for clubs and helping build the Greater Latrobe Wildcat Football program one golf swing at a time! 🐾🏌️

🌭⚾ This is what commUNITY looks like. ❤️💙

The game came together on short notice, but our community did what it always does.

While the players were out getting the field game-ready, neighbors were mowing their yards, hanging flags, and getting their homes ready to welcome everyone to Whitney.

A huge shoutout to our field sponsor, Westmoreland Landscapes, who answered the last-minute call and came through with a fresh cut and crisp lines. The field is looking absolutely game ready! 🌱👏

We knew a lot of families wouldn’t have time to think about dinner… so we made sure there would be one less thing to worry about.
