This class runs on 6-week cycles and is fully modifiable for any fitness or strength level. Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned regular, you can jump in anytime. If Build isn’t already part of your weekly routine, this is your sign to make it one. 💪

Event #2: AXEL ANARCHY – AXEL BAR 1 REP MAX CLEAN 🪓
Athletes will perform a max-effort clean using an axle bar. Due to the thicker diameter and lack of spin, this event heavily challenges grip, pulling mechanics, and explosive hip drive. (No straps allowed)
⚡️ 3 minutes to build to a max clean
⚡️ Athletes can use any style of grip — conventional or switch grip
⚡️ Athletes may use any style clean; the bar can stop at the hip before continuing to the front rack. Power or squat clean are both allowed.
⚡️ Athletes may receive help when loading the barbell
⚡️ No straps allowed
⚡️ Standard: bar must be brought from floor to a controlled rack position

What is RPE — and why do we use it? 🎙️
RPE stands for Rate of Perceived Exertion. It’s a 1–10 scale that measures how hard a set feels — not just how heavy the weight is.
1–4 = Easy. Barely working.
5–6 = Moderate. Challenging but comfortable.
7–8 = Hard. A few reps left in the tank.
9–10 = Max effort. Nothing left to give.
We use RPE because your body isn’t the same every single day. Stress, sleep, nutrition — it all affects your output. RPE lets us train at the right intensity for YOU, not just chase a number on paper.
It teaches you to listen to your body, push when you should, and hold back when you need to. That’s how you train smart AND hard — long term.
