We’re proud to announce that Grind Time Facilities is now an official partner of the Hope International University Flag Football program and will oversee the strength and athletic performance development of its student-athletes.

At GTF, our mission is to help athletes maximize their potential through strength and conditioning, speed development, injury prevention, recovery, and performance testing. We’re excited to bring those resources and standards to the HIU Flag Football program as we work together to develop stronger, faster, and more resilient athletes.

A special thank you to Coach Aguilar and the entire HIU Flag Football staff for their trust and the opportunity to be a part of this program. We’re excited for what’s ahead and look forward to helping HIU Flag Football continue to grow and compete at a championship level.

Restoring hamstring strength while preparing the athlete to return to high-speed sprinting.

Today’s session focused on:
• Single-leg glute bridge isometrics
• Eccentric + isometric DB RDLs
• Single-leg DB isometric holds
• Ancore resisted backward walks

The goal isn’t just getting the athlete pain-free. It’s rebuilding tissue capacity, improving force absorption, and restoring the strength needed to confidently return to sprinting, cutting, and competing.

Unilateral eccentric control ▶️ bilateral force production.

Teaching force absorption, bottom-position strength, and explosive starting power qualities that show up every snap for defensive linemen.

• Eccentric control + force absorption (owning deceleration)
• Bottom-end strength from compromised positions
• Starting strength + explosive force production

This is how we build athletes.

Every athlete who walks through GTF gets assessed on Hawkins Dynamics Force Plates, because guessing isn’t a training plan.

We build individualized performance profiles that show us exactly where an athlete is, so we know exactly how to move them forward.

Jump height. Peak force. Rate of force development. Time to takeoff.
Every metric tells a story. Every retest tells us if the work is working.

Take for example:
Just 3 weeks into his offseason, Luke’s CMJ retest showed measurable improvement across the board, including a +11.3% increase in jump height.

That’s not luck.
That’s data-driven training done right. 📈
