Heartbreaking. Please take extreme caution around water!! 44 families are wishing they knew what they know now. Put the 5 layers of protection into action.

In the past week, Texas has seen 9 more fatal child drownings:

A 5 year old boy drowned in a Bay in Cameron County.

A 3 year old boy drowned in a backyard pool in Collin County.

A 2 year old girl drowned in a backyard pool in Dallas County.

A 17 year old boy drowned in a Bay in Galveston County.

A 1 year old boy drowned in a backyard pool in Harris County.

A 10 month old boy drowned in a bathtub in Harris County.

A 9 month old boy drowned in a bathtub in Hays County.

A 15 year old boy drowned in a lake in Jackson County.

A 12 year old boy drowned in a lake in Kendall County.

Remember that for every drowning that ends in death, there are 8 more children who drown and do not die, many of whom suffer lifelong brain and organ injury.

Please remember these children and these families with us today.
