MSU Texas Esports enjoys collaboration with local middle school MSU Texas Esports & Gaming teams collaborated with Barwise Middle School to compete in Super Smash Bros Ultimate and VALORANT at Legacy. The teams at MSU enjoy supporting other esports organizations in the area.

This weekend is our annual gaming convention at MSU Texas, Hyperbeam! Hyperbeam will be Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 7pm in the Clark Student Center atrium and will feature FREE food, FREE tabletop and roleplay games, FREE TO ENTER cosplay contest with prizing, and also pay-to-enter fighting game and card game tournaments with prizing! There will also be vendors selling amazing merch from your favorite games, animes, and franchises!

There is NO REGISTRATION OR COST to attend this gaming convention and it is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC so feel free to bring your family and friends for a great time! Your attendance and support of these events allows us to continue providing free or reduced cost experiences to our campus’s students, staff, and faculty!

Esports gamer thankful to have FallsCon Scholarship Blair Thacker found a home with MSU Texas Esports & Gaming after she transferred from Vernon College. Thanks to a Wichita Falls area sponsor, she also gained a scholarship after coming to Midwestern State University.
