Since the storm, we’ve been asked hundreds of times when Pueblo Boxing will reopen.
The honest answer is—we don’t know the exact date.
What we do know is the mission to serve our people has never stopped.
The Training Sanctuary isn’t a restart.
It’s simply another way we’ll continue serving our community.
El Pueblo Somos Todos.

🥊 Reminder!
Our Stand Strong Anti-Bullying Camp continues tonight at 6:00 PM at Temple of Praise Church.
We can’t wait to see everyone back for week two as we continue building confidence, discipline, and the courage to stand strong.
If you missed the first session, don’t be discouraged! Because each week builds on the previous one, we aren’t adding new participants after the camp has begun.
The good news is we’re planning another camp next month at our new Pueblo Boxing Training Sanctuary, where participants will have the opportunity to train on our heavy bags for the first time.
📩 If you missed this camp, send us a message so we can add you to the interest list for the next one.
See you tonight at 6:00 PM! ❤️🥊

It all started with a simple act of kindness. ❤️🥊
Back in July of 2021, we stopped by an international boxing tournament in Guadalajara. There were young athletes from all over the world.
We weren’t an official sponsor.
We didn’t have permission.
We didn’t ask.
We simply showed up with a box full of Pueblo Boxing fight jerseys because we believed those young boxers deserved to know that someone believed in them.
Every jersey was given away freely.
No strings attached.
No expectations.
Just love in action.
Fast forward to today…
One of our former Wichita Falls members, Joshua, walked into Raul Márquez’s new gym in Kingwood. He almost didn’t train that day.
Then he looked up and saw his coach, Jewry Rodriguez, wearing one of those very same Pueblo Boxing jerseys.
He told me:
“I wasn’t in the mood to train today, but when I saw that shirt I knew it was a sign.”
He introduced himself, showed her his Pueblo hand wraps, and she immediately remembered us.
She remembered the day we handed out those jerseys.
She remembered that everyone was so happy to receive one.
Five years later… a gift we almost forgot about encouraged someone to lace up their gloves instead of turning around and going home.
That’s why we do what we do.
You never know how far a simple act of generosity will travel… or whose life it might touch years later.
Boxeo Sin Fronteras.
El Pueblo Somos Todos. ❤️🥊
Not every act of generosity comes with a spotlight.
For years Select Industries has quietly supported the mission of Pueblo Boxing. They don’t sponsor us because they need the publicity—they specialize in the oil and gas industry, and their customers aren’t finding them on Facebook or Instagram. They chose to support us because one of their employees believed in what we’re doing and shared our story.
As a small token of our appreciation, we made them these custom mini boxing gloves and keychains. It’s a simple gift but one that represents something much bigger.
When we recently met with them, the question they asked before renewing their support was:
“Are you guys still a nonprofit?”
Our answer was simple:
Now more than ever.
We’re more committed than ever to serving our community through youth outreach, prison ministry and creating a place where people can grow not only as athletes but as people.
Supporters like Select Industries remind us that there are companies—and more importantly, people—who believe that investing in others is always worthwhile.
Thank you for believing in this mission year after year. Because of partners like you, we’re able to impact more lives than we ever could alone. ❤️🙏🏽🥊

What a way to kick off our first night of Anti-Bullying Camp! 🥊❤️
Tonight was everything we hoped it would be.
A room full of young people willing to learn.
Coaches willing to serve.
Parents willing to jump in and help.
The youth brought incredible heart, positive attitudes and a work ethic that made us excited for what’s to come over the next few weeks.
Each participant received their own Pueblo Boxing team jersey, which they’ll proudly keep as a reminder of the commitment they made to stand strong.
They also received a pair of hand wraps to use throughout the entire camp. At graduation, each participant will sign their wraps, and together we’ll donate them to our prison ministry.
There’s something beautiful about that.
The same wraps that protected the hands of a young person choosing courage over bullying will become a message of hope to someone behind prison walls. It’s our way of reminding these youth that no matter their age, they can already make a difference in someone else’s life.
A special thank you to the parents who stepped in and held the punch shields tonight. Your willingness to be involved made a huge difference and reminded us that overcoming bullying takes an entire community.
We also want to thank Lead Trainer Christian Arredondo and Coach Thad for leading an outstanding first workout. The energy, patience, and encouragement they poured into these kids set the tone for an incredible camp.
This is only Week 1.
We’re just getting started.
Stand Strong. Love Big. Serve Others. 🥊❤️
🥊 Reminder for all Anti-Bullying Camp parents!
Our FREE Anti-Bullying Boxing Camp starts tonight at 6:00 PM at Temple of Praise Church.
Please have your child:
✅ Wear comfortable gym clothes and athletic shoes.
✅ Arrive 15–20 minutes early for check-in so we can begin on time.
We can’t wait to see everyone tonight as we begin learning how to Stand Strong—both inside and outside the ring. ❤️🥊

Happy Birthday to our good friend Mike Rojas! 🎉🥳
I was looking back through old photos today and something really stood out. Almost every picture I have of Mike isn’t of him posing for the camera—it’s of him building something.
From our very first finish line, where we simply hung a banner, to helping build our first big gym downtown, then building our bag rack at our second location and now helping bring our new Training Sanctuary to life… for more than 10 years, Mike has been someone I could always count on.
Some people leave their mark with words. Mike leaves his mark with his hands, his time and his willingness to serve without asking for recognition.
Thank you for your friendship, your loyalty and for believing in this mission through every season. Pueblo Boxing wouldn’t look the way it does today without the countless hours you’ve poured into it.
May God continue to bless you, your family and everything you put your hands to.
Happy Birthday Brother! We appreciate you more than you know. 🎂🙏🏽🥊

Pueblo Boxing Family 5K has always been to strengthen our community—and that includes the pets who bring so much joy to our families. 🐾❤️
Thanks to everyone who participated in our May 5K, we were able to donate $130 to PETS to help them continue caring for animals in our area.
This is just the beginning. We hope even more families—and even more pups—join us at our next Family 5K this October. Together, every step we take can make a difference.
Thank you to the team at PETS for the incredible work you do, and thank you to our Pueblo Boxing family for helping us turn movement into impact.
Community support comes in many forms, and we are grateful for every one of them!
Juan, owner of Pueblo Boxing, recently brought Blu and Zoey to PETS for their annual wellness visit, including vaccines and prevention. During their visit, Juan also presented PETS with a generous donation of $130 raised during the Pueblo Boxing 5K held in May.
Thank you to Juan, everyone who participated in the run, and the Pueblo Boxing community for supporting our mission and helping us continue serving pets and the people who love them.
