Abigail's dance "Black & Gold" ~ received the 2021 STARPOWER 🏆 Novice Jr. Large Group 🥉 3rd Place Overall High Score National Championship, received 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 Stars, received a "Midas Touch" 🪙 Judge's Choice Award!!! Unfortunately (Novice Level) is unable to compete in the Starpower Dance Competition Battle of the Stars Finals, but after we finish "Throwback Love" she will also be competing again for 🥁🥁🥁 drum roll please...

Preparing for dance class is KEY to having a fun and successful experience! 🩰 By practicing a few things before each class you’ll set yourself up for a great practice!
1️⃣Stretch: Take a few minutes before each class to stretch and warm up your body. This helps to improve flexibility and to also prevent injury.
2️⃣Hydrate: Drink plenty of 💦WATER! Be sure to bring a water bottle to class with you and also drink during the day. Staying hydrated is an essential part of a successful dance class.
3️⃣Come with an open mind: Be ready to learn and grow during your dance practice. Leave any stressors or distractions at the door and come to class with an open and positive mindset. 💚

“I’ve always needed dance. Dance was my happy place. My place to be me, my place to forget about hard life stuff and work hard toward something I wanted. I want that for our kids here too. I live for the backstage moments, the moments where they are performing and they see me watching and without saying it they say “did you see it…I did it…I finally did it!”. The moment they come onstage and give me those big sweaty hugs and celebrate. The relationships built through dance will last a lifetime and the memories made are never forgotten. That’s why I do this. I cherish every moment with these dancers, their families and my teachers whom I call friends.”
