🏐 WICHITA IGNITE IS PROUD TO INTRODUCE OUR NEW 13U HEAD COACH.....MELAINY KENNARD!

With three years of club volleyball experience and one year of school volleyball experience, Coach Melainy brings passion, purpose, and a strong commitment to athlete development. As a former school and club player, she understands the dedication and hard work it takes to grow in the game.

Coach Melainy is passionate about creating an environment where athletes feel challenged, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Off the court, she works as a kindergarten paraprofessional and is pursuing certification as a Registered Behavior Technician.

Her goal is to teach more than volleyball, she wants every athlete to become resilient, confident, hardworking, and aware that they are capable of accomplishing great things! Melainy will also bring an assistant coach this season, her sister, Bailey Kennard! WELCOME!

We’re looking for someone who can capture the energy, intensity, emotion, and personality of our athletes both on and off the court.
