Post 81 Legion Baseball

Post 81 will not be fielding a summer team this year in 2026.
Due to low numbers and coaching conflicts, we will elect to take the summer off. We are sad make this decision but we believe it is the best choice for the staff and the Legion at this time.

On another note,

The legion coaching staff is partnering with El Dorado Walnuts to offer a High School Player Contract with the Walnuts summer collegiate team. Primarily JUNIORS and SENIORS will be accepted.
Details are not finalized, but here is a draft of the opportunity. Feel free to message us on facebook or get in contact with Coach Isenhour for serious inquiries.

More information will be shared when details are final. We have already begun filling spots for this, so act fast.

Game 1 win 2-0 over Wellsville Post 194 at the legion class A (AAA) state tournament here in Topeka.
Game 2, Post 81 will play the #1 seed Topeka Post 421 at 8:00 god willing of the weather holds out!

Come out and enjoy some great baseball at McDonald Stadium watching your Post 81 tear it up on the field today Friday June 20th.
We will provide concessions to help fundraise for the team so come out and show your support!!
10am- El Dorado Post 81 vs Wichita East
12pm- Bluestem vs Wichita East
2pm- El Dorado Post 81 vs Bluestem

Lots of ball being played this week!
Tuesday: we split with Midwest Elite down in emporia.
Wednesday: our 15u lost a close game to the curve Weart.
Friday: we lost 6-1 against Scrappers 17u, but took game two against Hutch A 12-6.
We’ll continue with our tournament games today in Andover for the Andover classic after the weather delay.

Monday’s games vs Iola 17u:
Game 1- win 3-1, Game 2 win 8-2.

Parents and players worked hard to get the field and concessions read for this game! Thanks again to Daniel Scribner and Flinthills for opening your field to us!

First two games under our belt vs. Wichita East!
Game 1 W: 16-0, Game 2 W: 9-7.
We had an amazing turnout from the community and the food/drinks from the concession stand were well appreciated. Good job Post 81 Family !!

Tonight's games have been postponed. Instead we will have a Red vs White scrimmage at 6:00pm!
