Please rain go away! We are headed down to Broken Arrow, OK for the 2026 Tulsa Elite Summer Invite to take on a tough field of teams…we are excited to get out there and compete! Let’s hope the weather holds up! Let’s go have a weekend! GO RENEGADES!!

Over Memorial Day weekend, we took on the Diamond Legacy Red, White and Blue tournament in Bentonville, AR. We had a solid showing in pool and played really well at times earning the #2 seed in our pool. After dropping our first bracket game Sunday morning, the girls fought hard to win the next two elimination games and to make it to Monday and part of the top 12. We faced a familiar and well-respected team in Top Gun National 2030 to start Championship Monday. They got this best of us this time, ending our weekend in a tie for 8th out of 41 teams.

Several important and positive realities were learned from this tournament that will significantly help us moving forward as we continue to get better and better. Battling hard through adversity, failure and disappointment to come out stronger is what sports is all about. 4-3 on the weekend in a team full of quality teams is a solid showing with the knowledge that we if clean a small couple things up, a couple of those game go our way!

I am proud of the fight, heart and chemistry to pair with the talent that this team has and that they consistently pick each other up!

Next up…Tulsa Elite Summer Invite in Broken Arrow, OK

These young ladies battled through bracket Sunday…dropping the first game, however, they showed great perseverance to win the next two games to fight their way through the losers bracket…they are leaving it all out on the field and playing together! Bracket Monday starts at 8am…let’s keep it rolling! Go Renegades!!!

Solid day at the park going 2-1 in pool…these young ladies played well, played loose and played together! There are a few things to clean up as always but tons of good things from today to build on going into double elimination bracket tomorrow! Let’s go have a weekend! GO RENEGADES!!

We are headed to Bentonville, AR for the Diamond Legacy Events Red, White and Blue tournament! We love playing in these Diamond Legacy tournaments any chance we get! The girls are ready to get back out on the field and compete! Let’s go have a weekend…GO RENEGADES!!!

It has been a long couple of weeks since we last played in Tulsa where things did not go our way going 2-3 on the weekend. We have taken the last couple of weeks working on cleaning up things, healing and bonding as a group! The girls spent an evening at the escape room and loved it…much needed team bonding and competition amongst each other!

Here we go…time to go take on the 2026 Top Gun Heritage in Bixby, OK this weekend! We are so excited to get back on the field! LETS GO RENEGADES!!

This past weekend we took on the Top Club National Super 32 down in OKC. These young ladies had a solid weekend going 2-1 in pool and 2-1 in bracket with a finish in the top 8. Once again, the chemistry this team has shined bright and the play on the field improved tremendously from the previous tournament. The grit and determination showed by this group to fight back from early deficits shows that there is no quit in this team. Most importantly, our players showed incredible sportsmanship, rallied together and played the game the correct way even if the team across the field did not at times.

This weekend showed that when we play our brand of softball and focus on the small details, success that can be felt follows. We have things to clean up as all teams do but this team is close to putting all 3 phases of the game together consistently to pair with the work ethic and love for the game and each other!

Next…we are off to Broken Arrow, OK to take on the 2026 Top Gun Heritage!

We are headed down south to the Oklahoma City area for the Top Club National Super 32 starting tonight! These young ladies have worked hard over the last two weeks and are ready to play Renegades Softball! Can’t wait to get back on the field! LET’S GO!!!

Catch up post from the Six in the Spring tournament April 11-12…we started our season in Kansas City going 1-2-1 in pool before getting rained out on bracket Sunday. The play on the field was inconsistent, however, there were several really good things that we can build on…there were some excellent defensive plays and some excellent at bats. We knocked the rust off and identified areas we need to improve and these young ladies have worked hard to correct those areas in practice.

Most importantly to me as a coach, I saw things over the weekend with these 11 players off the field that prove what makes this group so special! This group is in for a heck of a a season and I can’t wait to watch it with the way they treat each other and support each other in this game of failure!

Also…congratulations to Aria for home run #1 on the season in the second pool game!
