You don't build muscle in the gym, you tear them. Sleep is when you grow/heal which is why it is essential to any active person. It is recommended to get around 7 hours of sleep a night. Most active people need a little more. Here are some tips to help get a good nights rest.

-Have a consistent schedule and stick to it
-Create a bed time ritual to settle down
-Don't eat too much or go to bed hungry
-Eliminate caffeine and alcohol before bed
-A cooler room temp may improve your quality of sleep
-Make sure the room is dark and quiet
