Teaching you to rebel against diet culture and achieve your best body while still eating ice cream.

If you only lost 1 whopping pound in two months but your results looked like this, would you still give up?

Welp, my client hasn’t quit.

I mean look at those muscle gains 😈

This is why I stress the importance of progress photos over the scale.

I stress the importance of how you’re feeling.

How your clothes are fitting over that dang number that gets everyone’s panties in a bunch.

So here’s your reminder to say EFF the scale.

I spent $1500 on my first coach ever for a 3 month program and lied to my {then} husband about it.

When I decided I was going to prep for my first ever show, I found a coach who charged $500 a month and totally lied to my ex about how much it cost.

Looking back, that was absolutely absurd for what I got.

Email check in responses that took days to respond to.

Cookie cutter spreadsheet workouts.

And he didn’t even send me a peak week plan.

My clients get 10000x more than that.

But that’s not the point of this post.

I didn’t tell him how much it was because I knew he’d say no.

And I already made up my mind 🤷🏼‍♀️

I talk to SO MANY WOMEN who tell me “my husband said no.”

Here’s the deal.

It’s *USUALLY* not about the money.

Sure you may think it is; but it isn’t.

You’ll unknowingly spend $500 at Target and Starbucks in a month.

Most husbands say no because they don’t see the value in it.

He may not care that much about his health so he probably doesn’t think you need to either.

Or he truly doesn’t know how much you’re struggling; how much you desperately need help.

Because you haven’t told him.

So, if you’ve found yourself in a place where you’re at your wits end, and you know you need help and you can’t quite seem to get your husband on board:

Ask for support instead of permission.

I encourage you to dive into the depths of your struggles with your person.

Men quite don’t understand the way us women do.

So instead of saying “Babe can I spend X amount on a fitness coach?”

Say “Babe, I am really struggling to love myself again, to find the energy to be the wife and mother you guys deserve. I am asking for your support to take control of my life and health again. Even if you don’t understand, will you please support me?”

Because if the tables were turned and your husband came to you with those words, would you ever not support him?

What other myths can I debunk for you?

When Lynzee reached out to me 6 weeks ago, she was at her breaking point.

Having tried pretty much everything, not seeing any changes in her physique and getting increasingly frustrated; she finally asked for help.

And now, after just 6 weeks, she’s down 10lbs and finally seeing the fruits of her labor and getting back to her old self.

And we’ve done this not with some magic supplements, but with actual food, eating what she loves and lifting weights.

Where most people get caught up is they think they need the next crazy fad diet or fizzy drink, when really it’s so much more simple.

When you stop trying to complicate your fitness journey and go back to the basics, I promise you everything will click.

If you want to learn more about what those basics are, DM me ready and I will teach you!

Addiction.

Your best friend.

The one who will always be there.

The one thing no one can take away from you.

The one thing you can control…..

𝕆𝕣 𝕔𝕒𝕟 𝕪𝕠𝕦?

No matter what it is;

Food, drugs, alcohol, gambling, s*x; you name it;

Your addiction feels safe.

That’s what keeps you coming back.

I’ve been on both sides of it’s misery.

Going through my eating disorder and watching a loved one battle with it;

Addiction is something I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.

Because what was once something that was giving you control, now has control over you.

And the hardest part in healing is being willing to give up your safety net, which goes against our very nature as humans.

But just know, giving up what feels like a safety net, is actually going to keep you safe.

Eating a dozen donuts in one sitting won’t keep you safe.

Let this be a reminder to you; there is hope.

It’s going to feel awful at first, it’s going to go against everything you know and feel In your body, and that’s how you’ll know you’re on the right path.

So keep going, because you absolutely can kick addiction right in the ass ❤️

Him: “Scuse me miss, you’re not supposed to have muscles.”

Me: “you being intimidated by me is not my problem.” 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

Can anyone relate?

It is NOT normal to not have a normal cycle.

Becca came to me struggling with inconsistent cycles, fear of weight gain and carbs; and at a loss for what to do about it.

After going to her doctor numerous times she reached out to me for help.

Since September, we’ve upped her intake dramatically, stopped doing all cardio and focused on lifting 3x per week.

Not only has she gained lean mass, but her cycles have returned to normal 🙌🏻

So many women don’t realize under eating and over doing cardio CAN and WILL hurt your hormones.

Becca is now getting stronger, has more confidence in the gym, and is eating more than she ever has without fear.

Proud is an understatement 😘

Why as humans, are we so deathly afraid of admitting we need help?

It’s as if the damage to our ego will be the absolute end of us.

We like to say men have the biggest egos and are the worst at asking for help, but us women are just as bad 🤷🏼‍♀️

Call it human nature.

Now, it IS more socially acceptable for women to flat out admit they can’t do it alone; but that doesn’t mean it’s easy.

Maintaining the perfect image of “looking good while doing it ALL” makes it pretty damn hard to admit “hey this is HEAVY, I need some help carrying it.”

You’re drowning in laundry, haven’t showered in days and haven’t felt good about your body in years.

But you suffer in silence.

I remember the first time I ever came out and said “I need help,” it felt like peeling my fingernails back with pliers.

But it was the best thing I ever did, and why I am where I am today.

Having to completely create new habits, acquire new tools and learn how to use them, and undo all the previous damage is hard enough; doing it alone SUCKS.

And it’s so sad when I talk to so many women who are still in the same place they were a year ago, if not even further in a miserable hole.

So, let this be a reminder to you;

It’s OK to say “I’ve tried to do this on my own, and I can’t. I need some help.”

The weight lifted is incredible ❤️
