We have 9 Bolt Rim Center Base Rings back in stock. 5 spoke Rim Centers will be a quick turnaround on upcoming orders.
Do you have an idea for your own Rim Center design? We do sell the Base Rings as well!
Are you looking for something a little bit different than our 5 Spoke Wheels? Check out our Flat Spoke Wheels! The spokes have an 1/8" bend down the length to add strength 💪. These are modeled off of the Oliver Tip Toe Steel Wheel design.
Just a quick note about our wheel building process.
After 15 gears of faithful service, our Wheel Welding Fixture (affectionately known as Pixy...) required an overhaul. The original gearbox developed a ton of backlash, causing havoc with our Welding system. A much lower ratio box was installed, the drive train regeared to correct the table speed, creating the most stable spin than we have ever had!
The original base table also required some attention. I guess it could only take so many heat cycles and it was not designed to handle the weight of a 22x38 wheel for the Diesel Farm Stock boys. We had a new 3/4" plate burnt out, put it on a rotary table on the manual mill, and drilled and tapped all of the appropriate clamp down hole locations. Now we have 332 # of stable Wheel building happiness!!!

Getting caught up on axles again. I have some Hub parts to run, then back to axles. I am working on several sets of Oliver and a set of Moline Axles. Plus some more Axle Housings!
Now would be a good time to get on the list and have them ready for the Winter circuit!

Over the last couple of months we have been neck deep in some really cool Axle Housing and Chromoly Tube Axle projects. The 1st set (pic #4 with all the components sitting together) is for a D21 Alcohol LLSS. He has had 3 or 4 runs on them now and was happy with them from the get go. During installation, while the tractor was still on jack stands, he lightly pushed one of those big Ole 30.5 tires...and it just kept coasting!
The second set is a hybrid of the D21 and 190XT, combining the bearing configuration of both axles. This set will definitely be tested with some high HP and Diesel Torque!!!
Several other makes and models are on the radar screen. Let us know what you want for your weight loss needs!
Oh! BTW, these assemblies were only 124 # per side... Most other models would be lighter.

It was brought to my attention a few months ago that a stamped steel 9 bolt wheel with the wheel weight flats would interfere with the 10 bolt fl**ge on our combination 10/9 Performer Hub. I found one of those wheels, did some measuring, and redesigned the profile. I slide the 10 bolt fl**ge back 1/2".
The redesigned hubs are back in stock and ready to ship!

Scratch & Dent / Manufacturer Error SALE!
I have a pair of 2-5/8" axle Classic Hubs for an Oliver S77 or 770 available for sale.
One bushing is new and the other is refurbished.
The base hubs are normally drilled and tapped for both 9/16-18 and 5/8-18. I loaded the wrong program and the 5/8 holes were reamed to accept a 610-048 5/8-18 stud.
Retail for Classic Hubs is $1000 plus shipping and handling. This set is $100 off!

I discovered recently that my spline profile was slightly off on our JD G Chromoly Tube Axles. After a flashlight inspection with a bull gear setting on top of the incorrect splines, I noticed the involute curve was not clearing on the root of the spline on the axle. I made an adjustment on the CAD model profile and made a skin chip pass on the axles that were in process to ensure an accurate installation fit. Axles are gauge checked before they come off of the machine, however the contact area was below the gauge diameter.
After making the splines adjustment, I finished up 2 pair of axles that were in the works. I have another pair of axles AVAILABLE now that have a 7-1/2" offset. A customer decided to change the offset and narrowed everything up 3". I was not going to waste the stock material, so I ran them anyway and built a shorter pair.
I can turn this set around in a few days. I would be willing to shorten them to: 7" or 6-1/2" offset. Otherwise I can built other offsets in 3-4 weeks since I am still in axle mode and will be for a little while.
Let me know if you are interested! Plus this is a great time to install a limited slip! I have many cores in stock, ready to ship.
