Track & Field – AAU MO Valley 05/29/2026

To all Mo Valley Athletes, Coaches & Parents,

AAU MISSOURI VALLEY ASSOCIATION EXPECTATIONS

Welcome to the 2026 AAU Track and Field outdoor season in the Missouri Valley District. We are super excited to get this season started and can't wait to see what our athletes have in store for us this year.

As we embark on a new season, we would first like to send a special thank you to the clubs that have hosted and will host a developmental meet this year. We know it can be challenging to find practicing facilities, let alone facilities to host a meet, so we want to thank you teams who have been able to provide those opportunities for our athletes.

In the coming weeks, we have a lot of great meets to prepare for, and we want to make sure that everyone knows the expectations for our teams as well as fundraising opportunities!

In the Missouri Valley District, we will host two qualifier meets (the Kansas District Qualifier and the Missouri District Qualifier). The athletes can only participate in ONE district qualifier, so please be sure to inform your athletes and parents now so they can plan accordingly.

As we prepare for the District Qualifier meets, we want to highlight a few items that you need to know:

Entry into this year's meets will be done COMPLETELEY ON-LINE as to eliminate gathering points at any location. The link to share for entry into the District Qualifier is through athletic.net. Make sure you are clicking the right meet for entry as there WILL NOT be refunds at the gate. Spectator wristbands must be worn the entire meet. Athlete wristbands must be worn, replacement wristbands will cost the entry fee to replace, no exceptions.

Coaches' wristbands are given with team packets at packet pick-up according to your team count of participants. The cap is 3. Coaches who need band must have current Aau card and driver license; names must match and pay the coach band fee at registration. No exceptions to this mandate.

CERTIFIED OFFICIALS NEEDED- We will need Certified Officials to facilitate the events. If you have completed your Officials Training and need hours, please be sure to sign-up to assist with track meet. There is a stipend that will be paid for your services.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED- We will need volunteers to assist the Certified Officials for various events and other areas of the meet. By volunteering your time, you will receive a free lunch, volunteer hours (for student athletes) and it's a great opportunity to raise funds for your team!

*Please check the schedule of events for the Kansas Qualifier as it's a two-day meet there will be events contested on day 1 that start in the afternoon.

Please check the schedule of events for the Missouri Qualifier as it's a two-day meet there will be events contested on day 1 that start in the afternoon.

Mo Valley will be using Midwest Timing and there will be live results provided for both meets.

Awards will be distributed at the end of the meet with one coach representative receiving the awards for their team. Unattached athletes can receive their award(s) after they have completed ALL their events of the meet. 12 & under must be with an adult 13 & older can pick up their own.

For last minute cancellation(s) or weather delay, we have moved from Remind Communications to Athletic.net platform. Please make sure you have the notifications set on as to not miss important information.

We want to make this a great meet, so please make sure that we adhere to the rules and regulations for all athletes, coaches and spectators (listed below). Thank you in advance for your help. Let's have a great season!
